Nanni Moretti es el invitado más importante de esta 19° edición del Bafici, y probablemente uno de los más relevantes de la historia del festival de cine porteño. Figura central del cine italiano de las últimas cuatro décadas, autor de obras maestras como Palombella rossa, Moretti ofreció dos charlas en este Bafici. La primera fue el jueves a la noche, en el Village Recoleta, y se puede ver acá. La segunda ocurrió el viernes a la tarde en el Auditorio El Aleph, del Centro Cultural Recoleta, con la excusa de la presentación del libro Ecce Nanni: El testigo crítico. Acompañado por el director del festival, Javier Porta Fouz, y el crítico y realizador Sergio Wolf, Moretti se refirió entre otras cosas a sus documentales La cosa y The Last Customer, contó divertidas anécdotas de la filmación de Palombella rossa y, por supuesto, habló de política.
